LUCAS FROESCHNER
Bird Blind

I'm hiding, quietly, inside these woods.
I'm waiting, watching, inside this wooden sanctuary.
Looking, silently as the people of the woods come out.
Cardinals, woodpeckers, squirrels and deer.
These children of the woods come here to feed.
On the suet, the scattered seed and the millet.
Shhhh..........
