JAY P. MCGILLICUDDY
This Be The Worse

Business suits are a lot like us.
We may not like it, but it's true.
They want a life that's free from fuss.
And even dream like we do, too.

Their dreams are just as lame as ours.
They want some funky hats and boats,
A bathtub full of whisky sours,
And a home guarded by a moat.

They want an end to racial slurs,
To live lives the way they were,
To call a spade a spade, a mick a mick, a flame a flamer
—No, wait. I hear it. Their dreams are lamer.
