Judy J. Long was born in Des Moines, Iowa.  She lives with her husband and two daughters.  Judy derives inspiration from anatomical forms and has exhibited in local venues such as ArtFest Midwest, Art Stop, Candeo's Art of Independence Gala, the Iowa State Fair, the Des Moines Arts Festival, and the Sanford Museum.  After graduating in 2014 with a BA from Grand View University, Judy devoted her time to her art and working as a Recovery Technician.  She will continue her education at Iowa State University in 2015, pursuing an MFA.
