All this week the Daily Palette will be celebrating some of our favorite ceramic artists from across the state.

About the artist:

I received my Associate in Arts degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, my Bachelor of Fine Arts (ceramics emphasis) from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, and my Master of Fine Arts (ceramics emphasis) from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.  I had a gallery and studio in Fairfield, Iowa for two years before I relocated to the Seattle area.  I currently teach at Everett Community College, and I am the Studio Technician at Shoreline Community College and Studio Manager at Seward Park Clay Studio in Seattle, Washington.  I am part of the Edmonds Clay Co-Op, where I make and fire my work.
